For those wanting to see the Los Vegas Strip, the hotel's free shuttle will drop you off at the Wynn. From there, you can begin your Los Vegas adventure. Join us in Las Vegas !!!! Besides being the brightest place in the entire state of Nevada, Las Vegas has a multitude of things to see and do! Las Vegas and the surrounding area have a unique and diverse history. From a cattle ranch that was also a stop-off for wagon trains along the Old Spanish Trail in the 1840’s; to one of the Seven Wonders of the Industrial World, the Hoover Dam; to the world’s largest gold nugget (61 lbs.) housed in, where else, the Golden Nugget; to non-stop gaming and entertainment and world class dining; the Las Vegas area has something to offer everyone who visits. In 1906 the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino was built on Fremont Street. It is still family owned and operated, and THAT, folks, was the beginning….. And speaking of Fremont Street, that was the home of the original ‘Sin City’; not the Strip. The Strip was the street where in the 1950’s and ‘60’s the Flamingo, the Sands, the Riviera, Caesar’s Palace, members of the mob and the ‘Rat Pack’ could all be seen. Most of the casinos remain today, although they have been re-vamped to keep up with their newer ‘neighbors’. There are also museums; the Atomic Testing Museum, the Auto Collection at the Imperial Palace, the Bellagio Gallery of Fine Art, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, the 4 story M & M’s World at the Showcase Mall, the Mob Experience, the Pinball Hall of Fame and Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit at the Luxor. It’s all there, and so much more. Where else but in Vegas can you go from New York City to Paris to Venice and Ancient Egypt by taking a walk down the street? Please join us for The Rohna Survivors Memorial Association 2012 Reunion in Las Vegas. We think you’ll have ‘the time of your life’. And remember…….. “What happens in Vegas, STAYS in Vegas”!
