| Soon after the Rohna was destroyed and survivors were safely reestablished, some of them proceeded to log their experiences in diaries, letters and poems. Later on, perhaps after the war, other poems surfaced. All of them expressed the intense depth of feeling and scarring that the Rohna experience caused them. For some, it must have served as a catharsis; a means of bringing some degree of closure to the painful memories and their effects on these men. This page presents the poems that have been made available thus far. No doubt others exist and in time they too will find space to be
shared. The Pioneer Comes Through by Louis
